About Me
Hi there! What can I tell you about me? My name is Teresa Sanderson, also known as Tess, and I now live in Somerset, having made a big move from South Lincolnshire in late 2022. I am a fun loving lady and whilst I suffer from a couple of auto immune diseases, these are only part of who I am and do not define me. My life path has been full of twists and turns, dealing with lipoedema, fibromyalgia, arthiritis and some permanent injuries, all of which limit my mobility and give me constant pain.
I am a firm believer that we must take every opportunity to improve our lot and help ourselves, and for me, Laughter Yoga (Hasayayoga) and The Balance Procedure helps with that.
I have a background in Development and Training and have also undertaken combined roles with PA and Administration work as well. I have always had an interest in the holistic side of well-being, which has increased in recent years and I believe it can work well in tandem with traditional medicine. I also work with the charity Lipoedema UK, helping out with Social Media, giving Talks on the Condition, going out to Healthcare conferences to spread awareness and helping with the Annual Conference.
I had been looking for some time for an exercise that was accessible to me, when I finally came across Laughter Yoga, and though I initally approached it with trepidation, I was thrilled to find it was just what I needed in my life in so many ways. I qualified in 2017 as a Laughter Yoga Leader and love to share this activity with others. I am expanding my my corporate work with a special interest in wellness at work and inclusivity, offering an effective and fun way to exercise and improve health. I also work with clients such as Mental Health Units, Health Support Groups, Care Homes, Social Groups, Colleges and private individuals. Finally, after the two years lost to Covid, I went on to underpin my experience by qualifying to become a Laughter Yoga Teacher and also a Laughter Coach, in the summer of 2022.
I have trained and actively use The Balance Procedure and am offering consultations in this non verbal technique which is quick and easy to learn, and used as part of our daily life we can really change all those fears and life limiting beliefs that we have collected on our life path. It is actually a technique that can be used by people of any age or ability, using our energy and breathing to find our true potential.
I write and facilitate Workshops aligned with self development and self care - take a look at the Workshops page for information. I can offer Coaching, Meditation, Mindfulness as part of the Workshops or standalone. There is a Menu of Options for Business with a variety of solutions for wellbeing at work and of course bespoke sessions can be planned as required.
Whilst I expect to work in the local area, I am open to consider work nationally and internationally, providing expenses and travel time are covered - please contact me for fees.
